Automatic residential power generators provide dependable protection during unexpected power outages. Aurora Power System Residential Generators are available from 10 to 120kW output capabilities and can be run full time. Aurora generators use clean burning diesel engines that are quiet and automatic. The enclosure is weather tight and the rugged construction is able to withstand rough handling in other applications such as construction sites and commercial applications. The generators are designed on modular principles with many interchangeable components permitting on-site repair if required.
Solid frame, canopy and doors are designed for minimal vibration resulting in lower noise levels. Special acoustic material used further reduces noise as does the oversize muffler. Lower noise levels make this an ideal until for residential applications.
The enclosure is robust and highly corrision resistant due to its zinc plated or stainless steel fasteners. The body is made from steel components that are treated with ant-rust paint that is powder coated.
Extra wide full length doors on each size for easy access. Control panel is in view from window on a lockable access door. Emergency stop push button is mounted on teh exteriour. Cooling fan and batter charging alternator all fully guarded. Fuel and battery can only be accessed by lockable access doors. Exhaust muffler is totally enclosed for operator safety. Easy to transport by lifting points on baseframe.

Automatic Transfer Switch
The built in Transfer Switch is a control circuit that senses mains voltage. When utility power is interrupted, it starts up the generator, disconnects the load from the utility and connects it to the generator. It then continues to monitor mains voltage, and when it is restored, switches your household wiring from the generator back to the utility. When the generator is disconnected it normally goes into a cool-down process and then automatically shuts down.

Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR)
In addition to regulating the generator voltage, the AVR circuitry includes under-speed and sensing loss protection features. Excitation power is derived directly from the generator terminals. Positive voltage build up from residual levels is ensured by the use of efficient semiconductors in the power circuitry of the AVR.
The AVR is linked with the main stator windings and the exciter field windings to provide closed loop control of the output voltage with load regulation of +/- 1.0%.
In addition to being powered from the main stator, the AVR also derives a sample voltage from the output windings for voltage control purposes. In response to this sample voltage, the AVR controls the power fed to the exciter field, and hence the main field, to maintain the machine output voltage within the specified limits, compensating for load, speed, temperature and power factor of the generator.
A frequency measuring circuit continually monitors the generator output and provides output under-speed protection of the excitation system, by reducing the output voltage proportionally with speed below a pre-settable threshold. A manual adjustment is provided for factory setting of the under frequency roll off point, (UFRO). This can easily be changed to 50 or 60 Hz in the field by push-on link selection.

The combination engine and fuel tank will let this generator run for 4 days before needing refueling!
